Rotten fruit and produce covered in bugs. Also tried to return moldy cheese and they gave me a hard time about it.

This is my GO TO Safeway and I was SO DISAPPOINTED in the service regarding checkout. YOUR POOR STAFF. Two tills open and NO express. ALL self checkouts FULL and overflowing with people waiting. Those staff working beyond hard and not a manager in sight on the floor to help. Disgusting. Your floor manager and GM should be ashamed of the gong show at 5:30pm. Kudos to your cashiers and employees for trying to keep up with the long lines. We pay more than top dollar to shop here. Staff your store accordingly!!!!!!

On New Year's Eve day, (the 31st), I was in a stressful situation in the meat department. I was okay with it, I was quiet and keeping to myself. Now, the meat department manager, unfortunately I forget his name, approached me....and was very helpful and kind. I just wanted to share my positive experience.

Never has anyone at the express checkouts. I don’t wanna have to use a credit card for 3 items, nor do I want to wait behind a person with a massive cart full of groceries to be able to pay cash at the checkout line. I just want to pay cash and go. OPEN THE EXPRESS LINE!!!!

I enjoyed my visit at this location. The store is clean and tidy. The shelves are stocked. The parking lot is clean. There were no abandoned shopping carts in the parking lot. The cashier who served me today was polite and friendly. Thank You!

I am 50 years old with type 2 diabetes and numerous other medical conditions. I decided to bundle up and walk to Safeway early this morning for some items and get some excercise at the same time. After grabbing a new tank for my soda stream and another item ,I headed to customer service as everywhere else soda stream tanks are exchanged at customer service. A employee stopped me accusing me of stealing. I said I was going to customer service and he walked away with no apology. At no time was I even near a exit or attempting to leave the store. Items I was buying were visible in my hands. Wearing a touk and a face covering pulled under my chin to expose my face in the middle of winter does not mean someone is automatically stealing. I might of even forgotten about it if the employee apologised. Just disrespectful and rude Do better
